About the Role

St Giles, in the town centre and St Thomas, 3 miles away, are lively churches offering a range of worship styles, with strong links to the local community and with opportunities for civic, rural and schools ministry. In addition to the local amenities of an historic market town, Newcastle benefits from being close to the amenities of the major city of Stoke on Trent and the beautiful Staffordshire countryside.

We are praying for a person who will:

  • Have Scripture and sacrament at the heart of their personal spirituality and value a central Anglican tradition;
  • Have the experience and skills to lead a town centre and a village church;
  • Be confident in working with all age groups;
  • Work collaboratively with the Ministry Team of a Curate, one NSM, two OLMs, a Reader and a Children & Families Worker.
